Reiki
Reiki is a gentle non-invasive therapy and may be used safely by all ages.
It is a natural and simple healing method, rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the late 19th century.
This laying-on hands technique, using a series of 13 different hand positions placed lightly on or just above the client’s fully clothed body, which stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and repose), causing the body to slow down and relax, addressing physical, emotional and mental imbalances
Evidence based research explains how this technique affects the parasympathetic nervous system, in turn stimulating the autonomic nervous system (the system responsible for our emotions).
